The Platinum Preppy fountain pen is a fun, low cost option. Light weight body with a very smooth steel nib. It suggested to only use Platinum cartridges, but can take a Platinum converter as well (may stress the body of the pen). This Pen comes with a black cartridge, but many more colors cartridges are available!

This pen is a fine which is great for precise smaller writing. We suggest looking at the other bodies if you want a smoother writing experience.
