The Platinum Preppy fountain pen is a fun, low cost option. Light weight body with a very smooth steel nib. It suggested to only use Platinum cartridges, but can take a Platinum converter as well (may stress the body of the pen). This Pen comes with a blue black cartridge, but many more colors cartridges are available!

Available in two point sizes.

Fine - Sharp thin lines suitable for writing in small spaces like a pocket diary.

Medium - Smooth flow offers a pleasant writing feel and shows more gradation of colors on the page.
