In Japan, the coast in the Toyama district - which gives the new Collection variant its unusual name - the water is illuminated by a mystical blue light at this time. The rare and spectacular phenomenon is called bioluminescence and is caused by light-emitting living beings. Especially in Toyama, the spectacle is created on the accumulation of a special species of squid. The thousands upon thousands of points of light that create a captivating spectacle on the sea surface are reflected in the high-quality plastic of the fountain pen. Depending on the light, the pearl green pigments sparkle with varying degrees of intensity. The overall design is perfectly rounded off by the combination with silver elements.

The Kaweco Sport Fountain Pen follows an original 1935 octogonal design. This pen is a compact size about 4.1 inches long closed and 5.2 inches long with the cap posted on the back. The cap screws on securely and stays on when in your bag or pocket. This pen takes a standard international sized cartridge, and comes with 1 blue one. This pen can only take Kaweco's special mini converter if you want to use ink bottle. You can also get an empty cartridges and syringes from Private Reserve and fill those with bottled ink if you choose. Made in Germany.
