The LAMY 2000 has been writing design history since 1966. As a timeless classic it is still one of the most modern writing instruments today. With a 14kt gold nib, this pen writes incredibly smooth. The stainless steel body adds a bit of weight to the pen. If you think you would like an average or lighter weight pen, check out the classic resin 2000 body. The Lamy 2000 fountain pen fills through a piston filling mechanism. This means it has to use bottled ink. To fill the pen twist the back section all the way up and then all the way back down with the nib submerged in the ink bottle. Bottle of ink not included.
